Well, I’ve returned my camera and it’s going to take a few days until I get a new one. Meanwhile, I have been shopping steadily (I’m very bad, I know) and will have a lot to make up for my lack of outfit posts. One of my favorite things to do is to check shopbop (I love sites that update everyday!) and make a wishlist of all the things I want to buy and obssessively check to see if they’re going to be on sale. Here are some of the things:
1. Rag & Bone: I don’t normally wear long dresses or skirts but I really like this white dress. You can put on a nice printed belt or a cropped jacket/vest and you’re ready to go to pool party in style.
2. Velvet: I love the slight ruffle sleeves and deep v-neck of this simple but oh-so-chic dress! You can wear a cute bikini inside or necklace and hit the beach.
3. Kova & T: This must be the most adorable little black dress ever! I love the buttons in the front and feminine cut of this dress.
4. Torn by Ronne Kobo: How fabublous is this dress!? I love the form-fitting fit plus the stunning graphic details in the middle. I would love to have this in my closet.
1: Rag & Bone: This silver boyfriend blazer is an instant classic. You can wear it and feel smarter than anyone in the room.
2. Marc by Marc Jacobs: Ever since I saw this on the runway, I’ve been obssessing over it. The color, the tailored cut on the shoulders, and design makes this jacket so covetable.
3. Elizabeth and James: I love white jackets but especially this one. Sharp collars and cropped waistline are so modern and fresh.
4. Juciy Couture: How cute is this polkadot jacket!? It would be so fun to wear it to dinner with your girlfriends!

I got my new camera today….except that it wasn’t what I wanted. It looks so different from what I saw in the picture and sadly, I’m returning it. I probably buy it from a store if the price is the same as online but we’ll see. That means I won’t be able to post outfit pictures for a while. However, I’ve been shopping quite recently and have some cool purchases to show you guys so stay tuned! The outfit above is something I took a while ago but didn’t think it looks “worthy” to post. But something to look at anyways, yes?

I like girls who take risks in what they wear like Susie Bubble or simple chic like Erin Wasson. It’s all about being true to yourself and wear clothes that expresses your personality.

I’m a minimalist so I like clothing that have clean lines, classic and formfitting. My favorite combination is pairing something loose with something tight. I don’t own a lot of jewelry or bags or shoes and my main focus is to wear the clothes just the way they are.

One night, I was dreaming that I was talking to Woody Allen!! He was asking me what my favorite drink is and I said “Vodka”. Then he winked at me and told me to pinch his cheeks. Isn’t that crazy??? In reality, I have never even tasted vodka before.

Lakshmi Menon is one of my favorite models at the moment. She’s originally from Bangalore, India and has done numerous editorials in major fashion magazines like Vogue, Elle, Dazed and Confused and compaigns for Hermes, Givenchy, and H&M. I think she’s extremely gorgeous and has stunning features. Look at those luscious lips! Great skin, perfect proportions and has an irresistable smile. Not only is she beautiful, she graduated from college with a degree in developmental sociology and speaks eloquently in interviews. She definitely leaves an impression with you, doesn’t she? I was at the beach with bf and took a lot of pictures but the sand got inside my camera lens and now it stopped working! I called the camera repairs but it costs almost as much as the camera itself so I’ll probably get a new one. I love seeing models on the covers of a fashion magazine. I feel like we see too many recycled celebrities over and over and I’m quite sick of it. I’m curious about the choice of cover models as well as the models that are featured as the “The Faces of the Moment” in this May 2008 Vogue. You have all the pros and long-established ones beside a couple of stand-out faces like Lara Stone, Jordan Dunn and and Anna J. Remmeber the Teen Vogue issue with Karlie, Chanel and Ali? It’s refreshing to see models on the covers. This is definitely an issue I can’t wait to read!
