Swish

I finally received a much-awaited package in the mail today and it’s the skirt I order from the lovely store IheartNorwegianWood. My photos doesn’t do any justice to how beautiful the skirt is! The moment I put it on, I felt so light and happy and just want to dance around in it all day. I can’t wait to wear it any chance I’ve got!

Sunday Book Review….

Monday, March 30th, 2009

While cleaning out my bookshelves, I found this book called “The Plague” by Albert Camus and started reading it. It’s a fascinating story of a small French town being plauged by a bunch of rats all of a sudden and how it affects people from all walks of life. The sentences are quite long and elaborate but I couldn’t stop reading it because much of what happened in the book is still happening today. People don’t care about disasters unless it happen to them personally and authorities will ignore most crimes unless it reach an alarming point.

I’m wearing an ASOS floral dress with little red buttons and ruffles on the neck. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! xxoxoxoxo

In the morning sun..

Friday, March 27th, 2009

I would like to thank all of your wonderful, and sweet comments on my last post. It means a lot to me! It definitely helps me feel better and I really appreciate it. Today, I woke up pretty early and take pictures before I go to work. The park was completely empty and the sun was shining so softly. It was quite windy though (sorry if I’m rambling on weather).

I got an award from the fabulous Stilettostetico and it makes my day!

I hope you all have a great Friday! Love you! xxoxoxoxoxo

Summer and Leather

Thursday, March 26th, 2009

It hasn’t been a very good week for me. Heartbreak, work stress, uncomfortable weather..the list goes on. I did learn a good lesson though and it is to never, ever say something I don’t mean again, even in made-up stories. However, as any girl who has been in relationship knows, when we really love a guy, we would do absolutely anything for him. He means the world to me and if he’s reading this, I hope he knows how much I adore him and love him so deeply.

Check-check

Wednesday, March 25th, 2009

I’m not really a fan of checker print but when I saw this juicy couture blouse a few months ago, I bought it instantly without thinking twice. What I love about it is the slightly puff sleeves and the billowy shape that is classic and can be worn to any occasion, be it everyday or to a party. I’m wearing it tucked inside my black high-waisted shorts from Topshop.

I went to American Eagle and bought some pretty new things…underwear. Polkerdots and bows always make me feel good. Yeah!

No worries

Tuesday, March 24th, 2009

Remember the saying when life gives you lemonds, make lemonade? Whenever I feel overwhelmed with work, or anything that stresses me out, I’d put on a fabulous dress and go to a isolated place where I’m all alone. It doesn’t really solve my problems but it does give me a peace of mind for a while and I was able to think more clearly afterwards.

I’d like to thank Emmy from Pretty Exquisite for giving me my first blog award and I feel so special! I would like to pass it on to one of my favorite bloggers FrouFrou!

I would also like to thank Shini from ParkandCube for helping me with my photos! Thank you so much! xxoxoxoxo

I don’t feel like dancing….

Sunday, March 22nd, 2009

Hope everyone is having a great Saturday. I’m pretending to be on the dancefloor listening to the Scissor Sister’s “I don’t feel like dancing” song.

Wait, don’t stop!

Get Set!

Ready?

Shake it to the left!

Shake it to the right!

Now stop!

Okay, I’m done showing you my awesome dance moves. I’m sure you’re impressed. Anyway, I’m trying to find the perfect headband but meanwhile, I’m wearing a small knit scarf on my head.

This is a rubber duckie race going on in the park behind my apartment. Kind of cool to see all the yellow duckies compete against each other.

Some lucky duckie won the first place! Horray!

The New Star

Friday, March 20th, 2009

This is Zach. He’s 6’1” , blue eyes and brown hair boy signed with Basic Modeling Agency in NY. I checked out the modeling agency website and he’s probably the only one that stands out from the rest of the boys. Nice eyes! I think he’ll be perfect for Abercrombie or Hollister Compaign.
Have a great Friday! xxoxoxox

Ms.Cheshire cat

Thursday, March 19th, 2009

I’m feeling sort of whimsical today and decided to play around with my striped sweater.

Me pretending to be a cat in disguise and being silly.

I love the buttons on this sweater.

Remember the Cheshire cat? Whenever I wear stripes, I think of his crazy grin.
