Everyone has their own littler quirks that are completely strange, confusing, annoying or adorable to other people. I was thinking about what my own quirks are and thought I’ll share them with you. Hope you don’t think I’m a complete freak after reading this though..haha..here it goes:
1. Everytime I go out, I need to find a place where I can sit down comfortably..benches, chairs without proper support (aka..padding) makes me feel anxious. It’s one of those things that I can’t explain why I feel that way.
2. I don’t like to swear…the only time I will do it are when I’m especially upset and someone has pushed all my buttons. P.S> Just to clear things up, by swearing, I meant the usual F word or the S words…you will see what word I use for “swearing” below.
3. I can’t stand frogs…it’s the one animal I’m deadly afraid of. And lizards.
4. I’m obssessed with crunchy snacks. If anything is crunchy and sweet, PERFECT!
5. In my highschool, all the girls had to tie their hair up and I hated that rule. So one day, I put my hair down just to see what happens and the principal called me out in front of everyone and yelled at me for breaking the rule. I never tie my hair again because it brings up memories about that experience and how much I don’t like anyone telling me how to dress or what I do with my body.
Bonus Quirks: The words I overused are “My Goodness”, “Bloody Hell” and “That’s so cool!”.
What about you? What are your quirks? I’d love to know! xoxoxoxoxo

Hope everyone had an amazing weekend! Sometimes I feel that my personality is a lot like my taste for clothes. I have a very black and white view on most things, especially relationships. I never like the idea of on and off relationships…to me, it’s either on or off…it’s either yes..or no. Not maybes..not probably…not I don’t knows…I want a definite answer on everything. I hate it when someone can’t makeup their mind..it’s a huge turn off for me. My other weakness is that I’m very resistant to change and it can be annoying. For example, if I’m going to a restaurant or a video store, I already know what I’m going to get. The same thing everytime. Why not? I know I’m going to love it! What about you? Does your personality reflect your taste in style? The hair, the face, the dress…Bambi has it all!Beautiful balck and white combinations! Did you know what makes the front page of Huffington Post today? It’s called “Why all marriage should have an expiration date”. I was immediately turned off by the title and then feel disgusted after I read it. The author, Delia Lloyd argued that happily married couples are a minority and that marriage should have a renewable contract. In Mexico, they’re proposing a temporary marriage license (minimum two years) and only extend it if the couple are happy together. Do you see how ridiculous this sounds? How can you be 100 % be in love with someone who believes in this kind of arrangement?
I sometimes find it puzzled whenever I read that people who believe in marriage are being called old-fashioned. I believe in marriage and I believe in commitment, loyalty and ideal love. I don’t think they’re unrealistic expectations. Yes, I’m a hopeless romantic but I’m not naive or impractical. It takes work to make a relationship last for a long time and it can be challenging at times as people evolve. However, a lot of the times, I feel that the media is always showing us movies where someone is always cheating! Why is that? Just imagine, for a second here, that if we’re always surrounded by movies and music that tells us how wonderful it is to be with someone you love for the rest of your life? How wonderful it is to surprise your significant other with thoughtful gifts? Affection? Kindness? Imagine if all we hear about is how couples are celebrating their wedding anniversaries? How do you think what our society will be like if most of what we see or hear is love? A genuine LOVE? It will have a dramatic effect on how people think about love and marriage in general. A society where cheating is unheard of and unacceptable and if you are found as a cheater, your reputation is destroyed beyond repair and you will never be able to show your face in your community. A society where you are only able to enter into a relationship when you mean what you say and must keep your vows no matter the circumstances. Do I dream much? Possibly. But wouldn’t it be amazing to live in that world?
As for me, if I’m in a relationship and if I say I love that person forever, I mean it and I keep my word. Marriage should not be based on a contract. It should be based on unconditional love and a lifelong commitment. If I do get marry one day, it will be because I found someone who believes in the same things I do and someone who keeps his word. No contract required.
This is what I want my marriage to be like:
What are your thoughts on the article? Do you think marriage should have a contract? I’d love to know! xoxoxoxo

Finally, the weekend is here and it’s last day of September! How time flies…..I’m planning to work a lot this weekend and catch up on sleep. Do you ever feel panic that sometimes you won’t have enough time to finish everything you want to during the day? “Time is not a renewable resource so use it wisely”…I read that quote somewhere and it’s so true. I have very little social life outside of my school and work but I like to be very busy and having my plates full with learning as much as I can. Whipping up new blog posts! Building another website! What about you guys? Do you feel that way when you’re spending time with your friends? Or there’s something wrong with me? Flowers in a bike are so sweet and endearing!Lovely casual outfits…I have a ripped jeans like that one in the middle and I’m planning to wear it with my bright tops!

What do you guys wear for your job everyday? I like to be comfortable but polished and sharp at the same time. After splurging on way too many trendy pieces that I barely wear now, I now only buy simple, classic pieces that would go with everything in my closet. It takes a lot of guess work out of my daily morning routine. I love Laurent Santo Domingo’s office style….professional and yet chic! This is what I would wear for my 9-5 office job..(in fashion of course) 1. T by Alexander Wang Chunky Wool Pullover $235.00 (lagarconne.com) 2. black coated zip super skinny jeans $90.00 (Riverisland) 3. Kbl ‘Soldier Betty’ Sunglasses $150 (kirnazabete.com) 4.
