How do you guys feel about metallics? I personally love to wear them with nude colors and I don’t think they should be worn only at night. Here are some of my favorites! 
I love that Anna Dello Russo is never afraid to wear whatever she wants. I really admire her for that. She’s who I aspired to be when I grow up!

It’s been a pretty good week for me and although I’m a little stressed about going back to school, I’m so excited to learn new things! I was about to leave my office today when a guy approached me and started a conversation with me. It was uncomfortable because he first said “My Goodness, what a cute little figure you have! Look at you!”. Then he said he’s from Tennessee and how I can probably detect his southern accent and how he has ten siblings and blah..blah..blah…He’s a lot older than I am (I guess in his late thirties) and I’m already too creeped out by his first remark so I just smiled and didn’t say much. I wanted to leave but I didn’t want to be rude so I listened to his ramblings for about 10 more minutes and finally he said we should hang out (No thanks!) and left. How do you guys show a guy that you’re not interested and turn him down politely? I’m really curious because sometimes I don’t know what to do or say!

It’s not easy living in Hawaii because we have the craziest weather (I’d like to think so!). Imagine walking down the street and you see the sun is shining and all of a sudden, the downpour comes and you look up and the sun is still shining like it’s nobody’s business! And the wind almost knock you down while you’re trying to figure out what to do. See? Three things happening at the same time! Rain, Wind and sun! That’s Hawaii for you!
But it’s almost always warm outside so I usually dress in light layers. Here are some of my inspirations….

These three ladies are so smart! The first one knotted her maxi dress at the bottom to show her shoes and the second one makes the night slip dress looks sexy for daytime and the third one makes it appropriate to wear it for the office by pairing it with the jacket. Genius!

Good morning! Can you believe today is August 1st? Time is literally passing by and I’m getting older every minute. It feels kind of scary at times to think one day you’ll be 50 years old and although it’s still far away, it’s inevitable. I have so many things that I want to do and I can’t wait to start each day doing things that will put me closer to my goals.

I’ve had a lot of ups and downs this week so it’s good to know that I can relax fully this weekend! I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend! As always on Monday, I’m faced with a dilemma of what to wear to the office. I don’t plan my outfits in advance though..I’m more of a spontaneous dresser. Sometimes it takes me just 5 minutes to decide and sometimes it takes me an hour just picking which underwear to put on! But today, I think I know what I’m going to wear…a sheer white blouse with black tailored pants. Accessory? A silver statement necklace and a bright yellow clutch. Shoes? My tan sandals. Done.
What about you? How long do you take in the morning to get ready? Minus the makeup routine!
