I’ve never tried this all-buttoned up look before because I feel like it’s a bit of an uptight look. But I think it’s very cute if you paired it with buttoned up skirts!

I LOVE the buttoned up look; I have so many shirts that I do this with. I don’t think it’s restrictive, as long as you have a shirt that fits right. It just makes a look that little bit more sophisticated!
The trousers in the first picture are also amazing.

It’s not my favorite look either, but it does look cute paired with those buttoned skirts. I love skirts with buttons! It might also be cute to try with some high waisted pants or shorts. Have a great rest of the weekend!

I like a good oxford button up shirt, but I think that buttoned up bottoms can be harder to pull off. Sometimes, depending on the fabric they can just pull wrong and that’s not a good look.

re like! want some of those skirts 😉
Love buttoned up shirts!!

I love this style, it’s not restrictive at all! It’s powerful though, and you’ll look beyond dressed-up and rather smart, I must say. Formal business clothing! Although if you add something cute it immediately makes you look girlier, almost like a school girl. By the way, how are you doing Shin? Are you super busy with work and all? xoxo Nath
Love those ASOS shirts! I gave you the Stylish Blogger Award on my blog, check it out! 🙂

I agree that the look can become a bit uppity, but done well, it’s a great look. Love the pictures. Hope you had a lovely weekend.
I like the look, but I’m not sure how it should be worn best, I would opt for rolled-up trousers like Emanuelle Alt: sophisticated chic. ps: just last night I saw an incredible movie directed by Marcel Carne, Les Visiteurs Du Soir, and last week I had a dose of Italian movies: “Matrimonio all’italiana” by de Sica, with Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni (a great comedy) and L’Avventura by Antonioni. All must-sees in my opinion. 🙂 Have you seen anything good in the weekend?
Hi love! Thanks so much for your sweet comment…I’d assumed as much in terms of who you were directing the comment at, but sometimes it’s hard over the computer when you read the words so literally! Like I said though, I always love hearing what you think and your thoughts were so well-expressed!
Okay speaking of button up shirts, there is the most amazing one coming in at Club Monaco soon. I’m obsessed haha. I don’t know if you have a CM in Hawaii, but seriously I think it’d look beautiful on you…it’s kind of a cream with pointelle detailing on the edges.
Lovely post as usual my love!

I’m loving the whole top button buttoned trend going on right now. Personally, I don’t do up the top button, but I think once school is done, I’m gonna be trying it out. See if it works for me. I’m also on a warpath with shirt purchases lately. Lots of stripes and buttons. LOTS of white. I needed to replace my old white shirts, and this season there seems to be a variety to buy from. The usual, fitted ones for work and also the more loose and free ones.. too keep with the minimalism! How was your weekend?
Oh these are SUCH great outfits, I love them!
