2010 is almost over and we’re on the verge of welcoming a brand new year! There have been quite a lot of ups and downs for me in 2010 but I learned a lot from my mistakes. I’ve been a poor communicator in a relationship, doubting myself, overanalyzing the situation, and wasting a lot of time over things that were not under my control…they all taught me to improve myself and be a better thinker. But the most important thing I learned was not to give up on myself and that there is always light at the end of a tunnel. That said, I want to thank you for reading my blog and I really love sharing my passion with you. Before New Year’s Eve, I always feel a little bit nervous and nauseous but it’s all good! I can’t beleive I’m here again, hours away from standing by the fireworks in Christchurch with a glass of cider (jeez, don’t you think it’s silly that you can’t even have a glass of champagne in alcohol banned areas) I mean it only for one day/year? well, anyways..I can’t beleive a year has passed and I’m standing there making promises to myself, half of which is kept:-)This year I really promise and hope that the Launch of my Label will be fantastic and basically sold out before it hits the shops..(how that’s even possible, I have no idea:-)ha ha..thn I hope to loose one wrinkle, what’s that about..I’m not old or anything? and lose 5 kg..that will actually be the easy part, all I need to do is swap my dinner to nudles..it has proven to work before..Lots of Love and have a Splendid Night!!xoxox Alice
wait just a second here! that pie chart says women spend only $800 / year on clothing. ummmm… I think this portion would be substantially higher for fashion bloggers such as you or I, but sure, let’s just stick with $800.
I’m glad that 2010 was a year that taught you important life lessons, and I hope that 2011 brings you more opportunities to learn! I love that pink, fluffy dress, as well as all your inspirational photos. As for what I want in the new year…opportunities, experience, and maybe, just maybe, love (ok, maybe not love yet…a bit too young for that, but happiness). Oh, and gorgeous fashion, duh!
