The first day of going back to school is always nerve-wrecking but exciting. When I was in college, I was a total fashion victim…I didn’t know what my style was and I was experimenting and figuring out what kind of clothes I want to wear. Then I started reading a lot of fashion magazines and slowly, I began to develop a passion for personal style. Now that I’m going back to school in less than a week, I feel inspired to collect items that I want to keep in my closet and in my room!
When I was young, I thought that people who wear glasses are really smart. So I got a pair of fake glasses and wear them all the time so that people think I’m smart too!

The preppy school look is one of my faves! I’m not in school anymore but I still love it. Unfortunately, I actually need to wear glasses/contacts. At least I look smart. I think one of the most fun things about starting school was getting new school supplies and clothes. This post makes me want to shop – I guess for the school of life. 😉 I want the Marc by Marc Jacobs backpack, the happily-ever-after pillow, and the teddy bear. Why is it so fun to have cute paper, pencils and notepads? I guess it just makes boring things a little special. =)
