Whenever I see a girl hanging out with her friends, I’m always intrigued by what they’re wearing. Sometimes, they dress very similar to each other and sometimes, they’re completely different. I think it’s great when you’re with someone who appreciates fashion and share your passion for style! Here are some of my favorite shots of the fashion pack!
I think it’s really endearing and sweet when girls hold hands!
To be in a company of someone who loves to dress up and are comfortable in their skin is a great feeling!
My sister and I are very different in our personalities and our sense of style. She’s very tomboyish and wears graphic tees, jeans, and generally don’t pay much attention to fashion. I, on the other hand, am completely in love with fashion and takes a while in the morning to figure out what I’m going to wear.
Do you and your friends/siblings have different style or do you guys have the same taste? You know, how some friends are so alike that they often have to call each other when they want to go out because they might be wearing the same dress? Or you never have to worry about it because you’re the only one who’s into fashion? I’d love to know! xoxoxoxoxxoo

Yes, I have a best best friend ~ we love fashion and have the similar fashion style. It’s amazing that I can find a friend to share the passion of fashion in the same way!

The black and white outfit in the first image is my favourite. And how stylish those two ladies in black and white dresses look! I have a very good friend with a very similar dressing style, we always like the same things, but never buy the exact same items (ok, one time we both fell in love with the same white winter coat and none of us wanted to let go, so we used to phone each other and check if the other one was going to wear it that day, especially that we were working in the same place at that time, lol). The rest of my friends, who are more or less into fashion, have different styles, there are other things we have in common. 🙂

Several times my Paris BFF and I have showed up in similar outfits, though not exactly the same since we both buy almost exclusively vintage stuff :). I love hanging out with others who have fun with their style!

Love Olivia Palermo’s style. I’m more into fashion than my family and friends, so our style differs. It would be nice to have someone who is equally obsessed and who is your size – than you could share clothes! =)

what a cute post!! when i was in college my friends and i ALWAYS dressed alike… jeans and heels and a f21 tank for a night out at the bars or clubs (swapping jeans for shorts in the summertime). we even looked alike and often passed as sisters. we don’t live close enough to go out much anymore, and since i’ve started blogging my style has definitely changed a lot… i don’t think i dress like anyone anymore (except maybe other bloggers haha)! hope you’re having a better week, sweetie.

NONE, and I repeat NONE of my friends are fashionably inclined so I definitely tend to stick out as the “crazy girl who likes fashion”, even though I don’t dress particularly crazy. My friends prefer sneakers, cotton t-shirts and jeans while I prefer…well anything BUT that combination! A couple of my male friends dress more punk-ish, but besides that most of my friends don’t pay much attention to fashion.

My bestie and I have similar taste in clothes, but I find we style our outfits very differently. She’s more girly than I and more whimsical. I’m more monochromatic and tend to like more masculine pieces, plus I like to show a bit more skin (hehehe)..

Lately, I have been doing a lot of soul-searching, so I have decided to scrap most of my new designs and go back to the drawing board. I want my pieces to have more of an impact, I want more of me in my designs… EEK! Soul-searching is scary!!!

Love this post! For the most part, all of my girlfriends also love fashion so it’s always exciting and fun to see what we’re all gonna pull out for a night out. I think it can be really empowering to surround yourself with girls who love to dress up…it also gives a healthy sense of competition so that you want to look your best too!

My best friend and I have pretty similar taste when it comes to fashion, but I think I take more time in the morning to put my outfit together. It happened sometimes for both of us to buy the same piece of clothing and realizing it just afterwards. It’s quite cute actually 🙂

Hi, Shin adorable! I loved your post today! I think really cool! As each person is dressed, the tastes! And most times friends are very similar, both in style of dress, is the things you enjoy doing. Everything is a matter of affinity is not it?!
It’s very funny, when I was younger I was super metalhead and my childhood friend too! Today I have a totally different style of my friend! We just approaching affinities!
I also have two sisters, the oldest is a more sporty and a little rocker and my younger sister who is a stylist has more style like mine, and when we borrowed the clothes of another, but in the end each one puts his touch is pretty cool.

My brother and I grew up wearing JCrew, Brooks Brothers, and Lacoste. We were little prepster. I have now branched out a little, but I still come back to the classics. I think my brother has such a great sense of style, and what looks good on him. So in a sense, we have the same sense of preppy/classic style at heart.

You’re lucky. I have always dreamed of having a sister. I am an only child and it really does suck sometimes. Most of my close girlfriends and I have similar fashion taste and like to shop at the same stores. So it makes shopping pretty easy and a lot of fun! I’m lucky in that respect, I guess.
That has to be one of my favorite things about people watching – seeing a gaggle of gals together and the common thread they have or don’t have in appearances. And I love friends holding hands! My sisters and I are so different looking and different in personality – and it shows in what we wear. One dresses very sexy/latin, another is bohemian, another is edgy and I’m mostly very girly. And I actually really love that about us.
Myself & all my friends have all got different styles which I love keeps things interesting & you can always pick up new ideas!

These ladies look adorable together, and it really does seem to feel better when walking with a girlfriend that is at least dressed up to the same level as me. I went out with a girlfriend the other night and we had on very similar dresses but not exactly the same and it feels like it fits, you know? It’s kinda strange to be in heels when a friend is in sneakers or vice versa, haha. I’m just now starting to make more friends with girls who like to dress up like I do. I don’t have a sister… but it’s fun that my husband likes to dress up too!

This is a fun post! I agree about friends holding hands (maybe to run across the street, etc). Very sweet. I think that while my friends are into fashion, everyone interprets it differently when it comes to themselves. For example, one of my friends and I are very similar when it comes to personal style. Often we end up buying the same pieces (if I’m lucky in different hues). Unfortunately we have a tendency to wear the same trench or something like that on the same day 🙁 On the other hand, we don’t agree upon every piece the other buys. Then I have another friend, who also buys the same pieces I do at times (less so than the first friend). But how she styles those pieces is COMPLETELY different from how I style them. She has a more.. busier sense of style than I. Still, regardless of our sense of style, it’s always nice for friends to look their best when getting together 😉
Now I have a personal question, you mention you have a sister, I assume she lives with you? My question is, is your background the Philippines? I’ve been meaning to ask you for awhile. It’s just that I met a man at this hair and esthetics school, and he told me his two daughters live in Haiwaii. It would be SOOOOOOOOO weird if you were his daughter, but hey, doesn’t hurt to ask 😛
Lastly, your boss is a horrid woman for treating you that way. It’s so disrespectful and rude. I really hope you find a different job because she seems like an absolute menace and the whole situation seems deplorable!

my 2 girlfriends who i go out with all the time have such a different style than i do. its funny.
hahahaha..same here! My sis and i got such different style and taste. I’m the girlie type and she is the more casual jeans and a top kinda girl and she hates shopping! She only goes in to buy what she wants whereas i will lose track of time and shop forever! I tried staying in H&M for 3 hours by myself once and of cuz i got myself some goodies, lol.
I guess my style is similar to my friends but we don’t often but clothes from the same shop so we don’t tend to clash in outfits..THANK GOD!

Oh, I love this post, I think it is so actual!
