I love looking at couples who are stylish or are interested in looking good when they go out together. Sometimes I see that they have similar taste in style and sometimes they have their own style. When I was in a relationship, I really enjoyed shopping for my boyfriend and I love imagining him in different outfits from the runways. I think it’s really exciting to see couples who have fun with their clothes.

What a cute post, dear Shin! It’s so nice to see stylish couples, i love to see they have their own individual style and make them work together somehow. The girl in the ripped jeans, high heels and trench coat is so my style (without the cigarette :)). And now that it’s finally spring I make great use of my trench coats.
ps: as for our discussion about models, I do agree that with the fact that models must have a certain size, it’s only natural, right? But it’s also true that teenagers relate more and more to these models, to only one type of what it’s called beautiful and right, as they are not capable of discerning, and that’s not really healthy. I was just saying that the models of the 90s looked so much better in my opinion, so much happier (and yes, it’s true that you were more drawn to seeing the models than the clothes), but then again, times have changed and fashion is a business more than ever before and designers choose who they think best to sell their clothes. But it’s lost some of its fun.
This was such a wonderful post! My fiance and I both value great style and we really dig how you incorporated menswear into this post. There’s nothing better than a fashionably saavy couple who are in tune with one another! Great work!
Mr. A never buys anything or wears anything without my approval. We don’t necessarily coordinate outfits, but we do make sure that we look good together. It’s all about appearance, right?

Oh, P.S. I dated a guy who was gay (long story — he doesn’t admit that he is gay, but he definitely is), and he would ALWAYS text me and ask what I was wearing before we went out so we would coordinate. It was pretty sweet. Until he turned into a douchbag and I had to kick him to the curb.

Love this post! Really greay. My mister isn’t as involved with fashion as I am but he does enjoy looking good which I like. It is important to a certain degree! We have seen each other at our WORST but that doesn’t suggest we don’t like to look our best! 🙂

All these couples are so adorable! I get what you mean, it’s sweet to look at happy boyfriends/girlfriends and so interesting to see how their style differs and is similar. Guys with good fashion taste always turn me on, and I could definitely see shopping for my boyfriend if I had one! The guy clothes are soo cute, It would melt my heart if someone wore the striped blue/white sweater.
Love this post! It’s just so cute 🙂 Have you noticed that some couples stat dressing alike? For example, out of the photos you have posted, #4, 7, 9 and 10 have very similar to identical styles! I don’t particularly like when couples get all matchy-matchy, but SOME couples can do this very well, without coming across as self-centered and vain. I do like when couples are stylish, have a sense of self as individuals and also as a unit/couple, and look good together and separate!

This is an awesome post! I love this idea of couples being stylish together. I have tried to dress my boyfriend and he won’t let it happen. I have tried to give him this preppy but slightly street look (if that makes sense haha). He won’t budge. He wears a suit to work so he likes to be the complete opposite when he’s home. Very t-shirt and jeans guy, I would say we can be similar to Jessica Szohr and Ed Westwick. I love your FOR HIM outfit it looks great and very ideal.

I’m glad you like Tarantino!! He does such a good job at using real women in real clothes. He’s a real filmmaker. He doesn’t rely on sex to sell his movies.

Answering your (great) question, i think it’s important to dress up, i notice that when me and my bf dress a little bit better, we actually feel better and we look like one of those couples. :p IT’s important to have style and sometimes work it, because despite the fact that you already have a guy/girl you still have to make them fall in love everyday, and looking good shows that you want to look good for him and mostly for you; think like this, if you look good you feel good and everyone that matters will get that. …to end this, everyone should improve their own style because it’ll do wonders in the way you feel everyday and helps you have more self-esteem.
