I felt the exactly same thing when I first saw it on the runway.
Later on, seeing it on street style blogs, I had second thoughts.
Still, it s not something that I would wear:)

i love the banana print after hating it at first as well. i like those leggings, i’ve been waiting to find a cheaper version of the trend. the blog z’s closet had a diy banana top. she took a silky-looking white blouse and drew and colored bananas on it with black and yellow markers. it looked like the real deal… thinking about trying it but i don’t know if i’m that artistic. <3shelby

I love the skirt on the first pictures. On the runway it looks a bit too much, banana-overload!

  13. great post. i love today’s topic.

  14. Nikki says:

Well, I think I’m having the same reactions to this banana print as you initially did. I’m not really sure what to think about it, overall. It’s definitely different and I do love the first two photos of the skirt worn in action. These girls have very different but fun takes on a rather intriguing print. I think if you don’t take yourself too seriously when wearing it, then you can definitely rock it out. It’s all about attitude and presence.

  59. Hmm..I think I’d have to go for Nay on this banana print trend. A bit too loud for me, but it does look delicious enough to eat haha

  60. I was the same, I wasn’t 100% sold on the whole banana thing at first but I’ve really warmed to it. I think like anything else, it’s just about styling it in a way that you wouldn’t expect it to be styled. Keeps the whole look interesting and pretty. Great selection as usual love!
