I don’t usually wear headbands but lately I’ve been wanting to sport flower headbands and putting my hair in romantic braids.
One of my favorite editorials ever with flower headbands!

Wearing flower head bands definitely gets you noticed and makes you stand out from the crowd. I think it is probably best to stay away from them if you are doing a business presentation though!

I was checking some out in Claire’s yesterday. I don’t think they’re for me. I like artificial flower pins but a headband seems too.. I dunno the word. I do like making real daisy chains and wearing them in my hair though. It’s less contrived but you get the same effect.
I love the first black and white pic.
These are quite pretty! They’re light and feminine but grown-up at the same time. I always wanted to make my own flower wreaths when I was younger, and now that’s it’s summer I just may! Flowers are so inspiring.

Last year, I was beyond obsessed with headbands. I thought I was Blair on “Gossip Girl” and seriously rocked a headband every single day. I wouldn’t leave the house without one. Now, I own about 50 headbands and rarely wear one in my hair because I am so tired of them. I did that for about 6 months!
Occasionally, I wear one to brighten up my look or add a different dimension to an outfit. Plus, they keep the hair out of your face in the summer!

I loveeeeeeeeee this look!!!! My friend just got married in London and her wedding theme was Bohemian style and all theese girls wore floral dresses and those flower headbands! It’s simply gorgeous! Its funny at my first holy communion aged 7, my mam who is a florist made a fresh flower headband for me – I hated it at the time as all the other girls in my class wore veils! I think back now my mam had so much more style – I’ll be looking for her input for the wedding!! 🙂 Thanks for sharing x

This is adorable! I wouldn’t personally be able to get away with a whole headband, but a flower or two works well for me! I especially love that novella dress! I wish I could see the back as it looks like it has an open back, which I LOOOOVE!
