This past weekend has been a long and tedious one to say the least…it’s not about the work but the people that I was working with were unbearable. I can’t wait to quit really.
I’m happy that it’s over though and I told myself this is the last year I’ll be doing it. Have you ever found yourself in a job where everything’s great except the people you work with? I’m tired of being nice and I realize that I would rather be broke than going another day to be with them.
Whewww…enough rant. Blogging really is my savior from insanity. Hope everyone had a better weekend than mine!

That polka dot and stripe-printed dress is insanely beautiful! And turquoise and coral are definitely two of my favourite colours for summer. Shin, I know how difficult it is to work for people who don’t appreciate you as they should. It’s one of the reasons I quit my previous job, along with the fact that I didn’t find it challenging enough anymore. We all have to compromise at one point or another, but it comes to a point when it’s just too much. Only you know what it’s best for you and I’m sure you’ll make the right decision. Hey you! I’m sorry to hear your weekend was a drain for you 🙁 I know what you mean about work being great except for the people you work with. I used to work somewhere where I enjoyed most people I was working with except for a few select ones. And my time with those people I didn’t enjoy working with drove me mad!! So glad I don’t work with them anymore (I left). So I fully believe if you are unhappy with any aspect for your work life, you should see if there’s ways to change that and if not, don’t stay if you come to loathe it. Working at a place you hate is emotionally unhealthy in my opinion. I don’t mind you ranting about it, it’s good to let off steam. And we’re internet buddies 😉
My event, we were behind schedule (VIPs) and then there were lots of last minute changes (VIPs) and then my partner panicked and we ended up not doing the short skits and the crowd dropped in energy (VIPs 5 speeches in a row!!). But it was interesting to say the least haha.
Well I hope this week is SOOOO much better than the weekend!

Okay so I’m sorry to hear that your weekend was such a drain on you emotionally! If you don’t enjoy any aspect of your working life, I firmly believe you should try to fix it to make it better, and if that’s not possible, then to look towards moving on. I used to work in a place where I just couldn’t like some people, and in the end they were part of my decision to leave (although there were other factors) but still, it drove me mad (working with them)!! Feel free to rant whenever, it’s good to let out some steam and we’re internet buddies 😉 I hope this week is much more relaxing for you and more enjoyable! I also love those Steve Madden sandals you’ve picked out! So cute and I love that coral colour. In fact, I think I’ll wear it today 😛

I’ve had that when I was 16. I worked at a cosmetics store and everything was great except the people I worked with. Nobody was ever helping me and they were just bitching around. That’s why I quited. Now I work in a grocery store during summer and the job is not that amazing, but I really like it because all the people I’m working with are supernice to me 🙂

People do not always like us, but everything in life is a great learning experience and it is always important to take away something good experiences! You are an amazing person and deserves only around special people like you! This is what I wish you always! I loved your pictures for inspiration! The bags are beautiful! I don’t work ’cause I’ms till at High School and now I have holidays…By the way i mind a lot that you had a bad weekend and I hope that you’ll find a better work for the following year 😀 This weekend here in milan was really hot and sunny so very nice but I’m also a bit tired of this weather that doesn’t allow me to go out without at least one bottle of water….

I know what you’re going through on the job front and I’d say most people have been unable to escape egregious employees at some point or another. Usually it’s the people that make a dull job exciting but every so often the tables are turned and you’re working with people who make you miserable.. Hang in there, hold your head high, stay focused and civil and get something else ASAP.

I can definitely relate to your work woes. It’s hard to constantly be the one trying to be nice and smile all the time. Toxic people with bad attitudes are poisonous to your life. It’s good that you’ve given yourself a timeline to escape the madness! =)

I read that your Week end was boring … Hmmm I hate unbearable people .
I started working today and I have got an awful and a busy day ! When I arrived to my work site , I had a problem with the computer because people had changed the password and nobody advertised me ! Noone was there today because everybody are on vacations. I had to call a person who knew the password since a lot of people were waiting at the reception for a formation and I didn’t know the person who they have an appointment with. That day was annoying me….
I wish us a better day tomorrow . 🙂

Hello sweetie! Blogging is my savior 2! I had a huge fight with my best friend and now we are not longer friends. It is really disappointing to know that you spend a whole year with somebody you don’t even know, who has been lying to your face and the funny thing is that is always me that gets hurt. She has been lying to all of us(the best friends group) and the thing is she didn’t even made a story for all of us, but different stories to each. Well I say better late than ever. Anyway…. this is summer I will firstly be working on my cooking apron and after that I will make a big photo-shoot and that will be the start of my new blog called Kiki’s Cooking Time. I’ve been thinking that for a long time and I don’t want to mess my personal things with cooking lessons. How do you thing of this idea?
