Inspirations Plus Plans

Sunday, February 13th, 2011

I’ve worked pretty late yesterday so I’m going to spend my day trying to recharge my body and relax with a couple of my favorite books and movies. Plus a little shopping wouldn’t hurt :-).

My two favorite looks from Colcci Autumn/Winter 2011.

This girl looks like all the Disney Princesses rolled into one person! So pretty!I will be taking my driving lessons soon and I’m excited but a little nervous. Do you guys have a great experience learning how to drive? Do you like driving?Such a beautiful shade of blue! Lighten Your Load Pale Blue Maxi Dress $65.00 (Lulus)Just bought this BB Dakota skirt that reminds me of the white skirt I wanted from the post below :-). BB Dakota Charles Skirt $58.00 (Need Supply)
One of my favorite musicians Mika said this : Resolution Number FIVE; Work All The Time. You know those self help guides that tell you to take lots of holiday and spend time away from work? Well, they’re bullshit. Those guides are written by self promoting workaholics who want you to buy their books, feel crap again and then buy another one.  When you don’t work enough you fell terrible. The things that you used to look forward to, like a drink after work or a favourite TV show, no longer have the same appeal. The more you work the more you value everything and everyone around you. At my age how could this be a bad thing?Roald Dahl is one of my all time favorite authors. I can read his books over and over again! Who is your favorite children’s books author?I love Hayao Miyazaki’s movies..all of them. I can’t count how many times I’ve watched them over the years. His female characters are strong, smart girls who get rewarded in the end because of their hard work. Do you have any favorites?

Hope you had the coolest weekend! xoxoxoxoxoo

Ah, that first photo is soo pretty! I love that pure, white dress and those killer heels! And the runway looks are great. I don’t know how to drive, and will have to take driving lessons…eventually. Haha, to be honest, I’m a bit scared!

And in response to your comment, I can understand how a breakup can really hurt (even though I’ve never been in a relationship), and even after a year, it still feels fresh. Maybe focusing on studies for now is a good idea, but if the special one walks in front of you, don’t let him get away! 😉
