Inspiring Monday

Monday, August 15th, 2011

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend! Mine was pretty busy but I did manage to relax a lot on Sunday so it made me happy! A couple of interesting facts I found out today…did you know that Marc Jacobs can’t drive? And Carine Roitfeld’s husband is the owner of the beloved shirt label equipment. How cool is that?Vogue Market Editor Jessica Sailor shows us how to look impressive at the office! I love that slit in her skirt…subtle but sexy!My favorite working girl style inspirations…simple, chic, modern and polished.1. Spring Sheer Panel Knit $170.00 (Reissonline.com) 2. Paris Cropped Trouser $180.00 (Reissonline.com) 3. Baroque Sunglasses $290.00 (safsfifthavenue.com) 4. Naomi Necklace by Dannijo $195.00 (charmandchain.com) 5. Sports Cargo Bag $74.99 (modcloth.com) 6.YVES SAINT LAURENT Opyum pointed leather pumps $795.00 (netaporter.com) I love the way these girls wear polkadots!Aren’t these couples just too cute together?I love powerful women who are creative and excellent in their field! Gucci’s designer Frida Giannini is 38 years old and never married and I remembered reading an interview where she told her married friends to slow down and enjoy life. Read more about her interview here! I really think women like her should be highlighted more in the media where they are happy being single and successful on their own. They’re so inspiring to me!
Next Generation from Peter Damgaard on Vimeo. The models from 2PM management are absolutely stunning! I love the ending of this video…so sweet!

Have an incredible Monday my loves! xoxoxoxoxoo

I wish that Mr. A would join me in the world of fashion like these couples pictured above. I do my best with him, but he just isn’t very fashionable. He goes with what I tell him to wear … So that’s enough. We by no means match like these lovely couples.
The weekend was super busy for me, too, but at least we had fun!!! πŸ™‚
