I love seeing models on the covers of a fashion magazine. I feel like we see too many recycled celebrities over and over and I’m quite sick of it. I’m curious about the choice of cover models as well as the models that are featured as the “The Faces of the Moment” in this May 2008 Vogue. You have all the pros and long-established ones beside a couple of stand-out faces like Lara Stone, Jordan Dunn and and Anna J. Remmeber the Teen Vogue issue with Karlie, Chanel and Ali? It’s refreshing to see models on the covers. This is definitely an issue I can’t wait to read!

The supermodel cover is my favourite Vogue issue all year, I am waiting for its arrival in my mailbox any day now!

I really love these pull out covers that Vogue do and Vanity Fair as well when they group a whole bunch of ppl together. I prefer models over celebrities too.
i really like to see how the “top model” rankings change over time. and it’s reflected in such magazine covers. i’m definitely looking forward to this one!

I’m all for models on the covers as well. It used to be all these separate spheres, now fashion, music and film are are wrapped into one and the person we see on the cover is, without exception, promoting a film or a new album..
Yay! for models on a fashion magazine. That’s the way it should be. There are plenty of other magazines for Beyonce to be on the cover of.
