I’ve wanted for some time to post an article about pleated skirts. I just love them! The outfit in the photo is gorgeous, a perfect look featuring a leather pleated skirt, matched with the nude silky blouse, socks and heels. Great style!
I always love a pleated skirt! It could go with dressy, with simple, with classic.. well it probably goes with everything.. doesn’t it? In my opinion it’s a must-have in your closet! And I just fell in love with the Pixie Market Minie Pleated Tulle Skirt, or the entire picture for that matter! xoxo nath
I really like these skirts!!My fav is the long one, maybe with flat boots or Lita shoes from JC.
Enjoy your Tuersady.I’ll go to take some Christmas gift in the morning and go at work just a few hours in the afternoon:)
XOXOXO
I really need a leather pleated high-waisted skirt, so I can wear it underneath chunky cable knit x
They are super super cute! I love the long one especially!

my faves are the golden skirt and the last white one, def a must have! http://www.fashionablenotebook.blogspot.com
They are very feminine and as you say, versatile. I would wear one to achieve a 1930´s style outfit; a little homage to the early Coco Chanel. xoxo
pleats reminds me of my high school uniform in the Philippines and our communion or shall we say Friday Gala uniform so traditional…its just so fun to wear this thing again…
Great post!!!

Seems that we have the same taste for fashion 🙂
Are you really from Honolulu, USA?, Looks so beautiful.
Best Regards, Cappuccino.
I love the last two!
Super selection of photos! I love them too but they cant be too short (or they look school girlish) or too long (or they look patronly)! Having said that, you’ve found the perfect style here. Love!

I’m not usually one for pleats, but these are all absolutely gorgeous! I must say that I love the Pixie Market skirt the best. So pretty and girly! Great post, darling.
Thank you for tellling me Francisco’s name!! 🙂

pleats are lovely, except when you try to make a maxi assymetrical pleated skirt. Tried and failed. Might as well just spend the cash.
Thank you for the comment and compliment yesterday. I love these skirts especially the leather one I need that! x

i really love the pixie market one. but probably only cause the girl is wearing the cutest shirt ever with it!!!
love pleated skirts too but one must be careful with child-bearing hips like mine – not the best of looks if the fabric is cheap and the pleats are sloppily done. looking fantastic on gamine girls though

Totally cute title!! Me too, I love pleated skirts…omigod they are the cutest thing! For my field hockey uniform this fall we had to wear little navy blue pleated skirts..too bad we had to turn in the uni at the end of the season haha! I especially like the Alice+Olivia skirt, their stuff is wonderful 🙂
http://thearcenciel.blogspot.com/
oooh that Alice and Oliva skirt is dying to be in my closet!
ps: added your blog to my fave links 🙂
I really love the second to last skirt! 🙂 the Pixie Market Minie Pleated Tulle Skirt – BEAUTIFUL 😀
i think, as it’s made from floaty fabric, that it would suit well with delicate and dainty accessories similar to the photograph 🙂
on the other hand, i think it would also suit sharp, striking items, like a blazer. i think the contrast would be amazing!
