Good morning! Hope you guys had an amazing weekend! Over the weekend, I was thinking about blogging in general and where it’s going to be five years from now on. When I first started my blog, I wasn’t very serious and I had different goals back then. It was just a creative outlet but I knew I always had an interest in fashion and styling. But then as I keep blogging, I find myself wanting to express more and I learned a lot about dressing for myself. Along the way, I made some incredible blogger friends who inspire me with their outfits and wise words.
What I want to know is if your goals for your blog has changed or remain the same? Do you find it easier as you keep going or do you find it harder? I’d love to know! Cheers to staring your day with a big smile and ending it with laughter!

A healthy breakfast or a slightly fattening one with lots of bacon and eggs and a toast with tea and blueberries are some of my favorites to eat in the mornings!
Wouldn’t it be nice to wake up in the morning and realize you don’t ever have to worry about deciding what to wear because you have such an enviable wardrobe? The top picture is a closet of Estee Stanley, a celebrity stylist in LA and the bottom picture is the accessories from Roberto Cavalli show.

My blogging philosophy has not changed over the past (almost) year since starting my blog. I began just to write and report on fashion and have fun with it. I still do that. The only thing that changed is that I have a real audience now. I have a fairly large group of followers — 334 to be exact — and I never planned on getting anybody to follow me. I figured it would be more of a private thing that I would do just for me.
It’s cool how life works out.
I wish life would work out so I could get such an amazing wardrobe.
That would be sweet.

When I started my blog (a year next month)
I wanted it to be about things that I love.
So far, it seems to be that way.
Other than that, it’s the lack of posting these days.
And I can’t make up my mind what kind of a “template” I like to use :O

My blog has definitely developed over the last year – I hope the quality has improved when I 1st started out I think it was more quantity not quality but now I only post it if I am passionate about it!
I think also I have become adventurous with my style…definitely I’ll be calling on my mam for lot’s of wedding advice…I hope you had a great weekend my lovely x
Hmmm I find it a lot easier as I blog – even though I have only been doing it for 5 months!
I enjoy it so much and it’s what I look forward to doing. Not only a creative outlet but I have gotten the great opportunity to meet so many lovely fellow bloggers from all over the world! (like you!)
I also find blogging a challenge for myself to mix and match items from my wardrobe to put together a completely new look, even if using the same pieces!

I wasn’t very seriously in the beginning. But one day my friend left here and go back to her motherland. Then I started to update my blog again. We always share what we bought. We both love fashion! So it is the way to let her know my status, share my new buy and look of the day:) And now I made some blogger friends like you. It’s a bonus for me!

My blog has changed since I started blogging, almost a year ago. First I was writing in Romanian, but then decided to switch to English because I wanted to get connected to creative people in the whole world. I have worked in fashion, I loved it, and even though my field of activity differs now, I wanted to keep in touch with the fashion and design world, which fascinates me. And there’s is the other passion of mine, classic movies, which are beautifully blending in. For now blogging has helped me meet some incredible people and develop my taste and style and maybe, if I’m lucky, it will bring other challenges as well. Have a beautiful day, Shin! Hmm, whether the goal of my blog has changed? My previous blog (foreignfashion) didn’t really work for me, I think I had a different goal in mind than I could make of the blog. So I started my current blog, scents of summer, and uptil now everything is exactly the way I want it to. I initially started scents of summer to post random photos, from flowers to food to clothes, but I’ve been posting clothes the most… Although when I want to post something different I think I’d still be happy with it, it would still fit my blog. (Does that even make sense? Hard to explain.) So I guess my goal hasn’t really changed!
Oh and I love people who smile, they just seem much more happy and confident! Smiling also makes a person much more approachable I think.

I don’t think my philosophy on blogging has changed, but my blog itself has. My style has changed a lot, and it kind of changes every day! I started my blog as a creative outlet to post and talk about my move to NY and it’s still a place where I can be creative and meet some really cool people!

I used to blog and delete my posts all the time! Only when I started my recent blog did I stick to it and surprisingly people are reading it! So that inspires me to keep writing and strive to inspire others. 🙂
Start your day with a smile and end it with a laughter! I love that! And the pics of the cool wardrobe and the shoes and accessories are so INSPIRING! I guess those kind of pics are inspiring for all girls! I opened my blog on October of last year, and I just opened it with the idea of sharing my style and way of thinking with other people and find out their style and what would they think about my own style; and that hasn’t change at all! What it changed through this time which it looks long and short on the same time is that this blog is like a diary! I never had one and I realize I do now! I can see the posts after some years and I will see the little me, my way of thinking and my dreams! A diary is something personal, but this kind of “diary” is so much more, you are free to say and express yourself and nobody is going to judge for who you are and about what you think! Comments are the beast part when you see what people think of you and it feels really good knowing that there are people around all over the world who follow you and share things with you, and are friends(like we are :D)with you! It is a way to connect with world!…Well sweetie, blog has changed me somehow in a good way and I believe that in one point or another Blog has changed all of us! 😀

This is an awesome post. I started blogging last year and I didn’t start to do outfit posts until last month. At fist I just want it to blog about fashion/photography, but now I think I want to also include some music stuff in here and there. And more outfit photos of course.
I have also met some amazing bloggers, and I must say that the support from the blogging community is overwhelming. =) =)

This a great post. I started blogging in September of last year, and I knew I want it to be a blog about fashion and make-up. I recently started posting outfit pictures and the support has been so overwhelming. The blogging community is so AMAZING. I think I want to include music post on my blog as well.

Well, your blog is absolutely FABULUOS so I’m not surprised it has become so huge since you started it. Like you, I started blogging with the intention of it being personal. So when I started getting followers, I was kind of taken aback. But you’re right, gaining new friends and being inspired (not just in fashion, but in LIFE) has been an invaluable experience. This is a great question. My blog is not even a year old yet so, as for now, my main goal is to just have fun with it and keep evolving style wise. I’m just glad some people like it and take their time to read posts. My blog being more of a diary/lifestyle type of blog, I really don’t know where it will take me. Hopefully somewhere fun and creative!

Fabulous, inspiring pictures! I started blogging as a creative outlet. It’s strange to think that I’ve been blogging for two years now. Some days it is hard to find inspiration or the time to post, but overall, I’m glad that I’ve kept up my blog 😉
