I like to think of my denim shorts as holy grail of dressing up or down when I’m going out…they always save me from deciding what to wear on any given day. Here are some of my favorite styles…

I have a pair of old Levi’s cut-offs from years ago that have the perfectly worn in feeling — there is nothing more amazing than those shorts. I love a lighter denim cut-off with black tights, ankle-high tough booties and a loose black t-shirt. That is the perfect outfit right there.

The first outfit is very very cool. I think that the idea to wear that grey top in that way is very nice and personal, it’s nice “reinterpretation” of the classic denim shorts 😀

old levi’s are legit- i like to get them at thrift/vintage stores
…there’s one every Sat in Silverlake (LA) at the farmer’s market- got a pair of levi 501 shorts for $6.
a hell of a lot better than paying $50+!!

denim shorts are so fun… although it’s a little too rainy these days to wear them
I think every girl needs one pair of denim shorts that sit on the hips, a bit torn n’ raggedy for beach/ holidays etc… and 2 pairs of high-waisted – in different shades a dark and a light. Oh and maybe a black pair and possibly a bright orange/yellow/pink if we’re being super picky!! xoxo
