It seems that all I’ve been craving for is sweet treats and just sugary things in general. Maybe it’s the holiday season…how about you guys? What are you craving to eat?
And Remember this quote from Anna Wintour whenever you hear someone makes fun of fashion or models. Fashion makes people uncomfortable because people don’t want to confront with their own insecurities.
I think what I often see is that people are frightened about fashion. Because it scares them or make them feel insecure, they just put it down. On the whole, people that may say, the mean things about our world, I think that’s usually because they feel, in some ways, excluded or, you know, not a part of ‘the cool group’ so as a result they just mock it. Just because you like to put on a beautiful Carolina Herrera dress or a pair of J Brand blue jeans instead of something basic from K-Mart it doesn’t mean that you’re a dumb person. There is something about fashion that can make people really nervous.

Oh yes, just bring on the sweets! It’s at times like these when I wish I had magical powers so that I could make anything in a photograph appear in real life (clothing…food…guys..lol). And love the photo with the shoes; it combines two of my favourite things! Shoes and sweets. But on a serious note, that quote from Anna Wintour is amazing. She always has the best insight on fashion.

The ‘I Want Candy’ snippet of Marie Antoinette is my favourite part of the movie, nice pics. Oddly enough I crave coffee, spicy food and doughnuts, I know, how very pregnant lady of me, but I’m not even with child.

When Anna Wintour said this in the movie, I was torn between agreeing completely and laughing at how elitist she sounded. I still don’t know what to think about it! I think yes, fashion makes people nervous and an interest in it tends to lump you into the “stupid” category. But I don’t agree with her saying that people interested in fashion are part of some “in crowd”. It’s an interest and a hobby just like anything else and isn’t automatically superior or better.

Oh, I’m always craving for chocolate! 🙂 I don’t necessarily agree with what Anna Wintour says about people making fun of fashion just because they’re excluded from this “cool group”. Many people say these things because they don’t see fashion as a serious field of work, which is a shame, because fashion is a form of art and fashion and culture can not go one without the other.

You’re so making me crave for some sweets like macarons or cakes! I love the quote of Anna Wintour, and I think she’s totally right; many people are afraid of fashion(able people) because it makes them insecure about themselves and their own style.

The top picture is simply amazing. Also love the quote, this is a really interesting way to look at it. There are alot of fashion haters at there and it is interesting to consider why. I would agree with this statement.

Loving this, and yes I’ve been craving sugary things non-stop too! Apparently you get cravings for sweets and carbs in the winter because your serotonin is chemically linked to those foods and you’re naturally low in serotonin in the winter??? Something like that haha. Either way, very cute pics!

thats a brilliant quote and its absolutely true, the only fashion haters that i know are fat or outcasts and know they wouldnt look good in many of the clothes so they just bitch about anybody who cares about fashion! I lvoe the photos by the way! really want some macarons now! 🙂
