Did you guys know that people are already dressing up for Halloween ? It’s insane! I saw a bunch of highschool kids dressed up as characters from Winnie the Pooh when I came home from work. Seriously, it’s only Thursday!
Are you excited for Sunday? What are you going to wear? It’s going to be mayhem as usual in Waikiki and I can’t wait! Here are the list of things to put you in the mood!

1. Watch your favorite Halloween movies for costume ideas! Mine is always Tim Burton’s movies. Anyone dressing up as Mad Hatter or Queen of Hearts?
2. Check out the top 13 scariest books of all time!
3. Be inspired by Tim Walker’s Photography and Editorials.

4. Create spook-tacular bats, cats, witches cookies!
5. Isn’t this Halloween mask pretty? I’d love to make one.

6. Here’s my favorite scene from Casper!
love this post- seriously making me excited for halloween, just wish it was more celebrated here in the Uk! Must say I adore your previous post on models- so sweet and true!Katie.xx

I loved this babe! We dont really celebrate it here in SA, which is a pity, Happy Friday! Mwah xx
Nice blog!
Halloween isn’t that popular in South Africa – pity ‘cos I love dressing up!
And the sweeties too 🙂
xx
Ah Tim Burton movies always have the best costumes. If only you could recreate them easily!
And that mask is so pretty, im in to pretty little masks this halloween!
The first picture is sooo funny^^
But this year, I’m not gonna celebrate Halloween
xx
To be able to have some of those cookies… in Waikiki, with you! That would be the best. Paris does other things better than Halloween. I’ll just sip a glass of bubbly and think about my bygone festivities back in the times I lived in the U.S.
Amazing post!
Have a lovely weekend <3
halloween is such a fun time of the year. i love over the top costumes and tim burton’s alice in wonderland is the perfect inspiration for a fabulous costume

Haha! Yeah they’re doing that here, too. My baby has a costume, I’m going to blog it. I’m going to be the black Carrie Bradshaw lmao. Just glam it up!

Ahh! Johnny Depp! Ok, may I just say he’s the sexiest man alive? Even as the Mad Hatter, he was strangely attractive…
Anyways, the photo with the skeleton is actually quite creepy.

Im in love with Chanel´s blue feather dress too.
I love Tim Burton´s movies, I would wear that kind of costume if we´d celebrated halloween. I have a costume party tomorrow anyway, but here nobody celebrates halloween. Do little kids actually knock doors asking for trait or dare like in tv there? lol
xo.
I hope you will have fun on halloween!
Sad that we don’t really celebrate Halloween here because it’ll be so cool!
Very cool! I had no idea you were in Hawaii, Shin, after all this time reading you blog.
Hey Shin, Thanks for your comment. And thanks for the Halloween wishes. Not so big here in Australia but it seems over the last few years things are changing. Starting to see children wandering around in their favourite outfits.
Happy Halloween
