First, I want to thank you for such caring and sweet comments on my last post. They mean a lot to me and I felt a lot better now! Do you guys find it easier to share your life on your blog? For me, I don’t want to sound like I’m complaining or whining about my life so I tend to keep personal details to myself. Sometimes I would feel overwhelmed with emotions though so I like to share but I learned to be careful with my words since once they’re published, they’re there forever. What about you? Do you edit your posts or do you freely share anything you want to say?

When I think of Oscar Dela Renta, the three Ps come to mind. Prim, Proper and Pretty. That’s exactly his resort 2012 collection looks. I love the idea of a bold-print maxi dress with an embellished cardigan. A matching stripes suit that is perfect for beach party. I’m leaning towards the maxi dresses

I’m not really good in sharing my personal life.
I seldom share personal details on my blog. It’s one thing to share your passion for fashion (and film in my case), but getting too much into your private life it’s totally another thing. I do think my posts a little before I begin to write, because as you say, once they’re written they’re there forever.
Polka dots, stripes, jeans, maxi skirts, love them all! 🙂
Love those colours!! sometimes it’s an ease for myself to say some sad things on my blog. Those gals are so nice, and yup life must go on! Let’s add oil!!

Your blog is amazing and you should not change a thing! I see a blog as a diary, so I pretty much write what I am thinking, what inspires and makes me sad/happy. Its part of the game, I think.

I understand exactely what you mean, it’s really hard for me not to star rambling on the blog about my life, but like you I don’t want to sound like I’m complaining or whining. So I try to keep it simple but still real. If I’m in a bad day I might not say anything at all and let the pictures talk by themselves.

I do try to edit my emotions out of my blog to an extent (e.g. don’t name names of who’s annoyed me!) but you’re only human and a blog is a place to share your thoughts so I say if you want to rant to us, do it!

You know that I treat my blog as an open book to my life. My followers (and friends!) know everything about me. I don’t believe in keeping my blog separate from my life. I want the two to mold into the same thing because my blog is my life, and my life is my blog. My followers have become some of my best friends, and I trust their opinions and thoughts. They have given me some of the best advice and support over these past few months. I think it is great to have such a positive relationship with one’s blog followers!

Well, there are blogs that are based on personal details that become so successful due to peples’s apetite for realities and scandals but a fashion blog is something different.
When it gets too personal it misses the point and most importantly, blogger is exposed for no reason.
Travels, shopping, going out etc. are not considered though very personal in our days thanks to facebook, twitter and all the rest.
I only blog about pretty things that I usually take photos of and I wish to inspire and amuse both viewers and myself!

Yes, I tend to spew a lot of my emotions out on my blog, because I like knowing someone is reading and will maybe comment with advice. It also gives my blog content and a more personal aspect. Wow, these clothes are totally gorgeous! I love the first three looks and then the long polka-dot is amazing.

And I’m like you, I don’t really share personal details about me on my blog. Maybe coz I feel like if I start doing that, word vomit will just come out. But at times, I do feel like sharing personal stuff on my blog since those who read it don’t know me personally and it’s nice to hear a different point of view. 🙂
I definitely share a lot of my opinions, but I generally don’t share a lot of personal life. I give tidbits, and I reveal anything that might add to the message of my posts, but that’s mostly it. Editing my posts is something I do a lot, because if I just babble about my life, my posts lose a certain professionalism that I like them to have.
