This past weekend was one of the best! I was able to relax fully and just enjoy being away from the computer for two whole days. Now it’s Monday and back to the grind!
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you know how much of a romantic I am and I love making romance part of my life even if I don’t have a boyfriend at the moment. I feel really happy when I see a couple who are clearly in love and I cringe when I hear news about a celebrity couple break up or divorce. I was really shocked when I heard news about Nataliya Vodianova and her husband Justin Portman ended their marriage because whenever I looked at their pictures, they looked so content being together. Then you probably heard about Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s split. But you know, as a optimist and a romantic, I like to tell myself that whenever there is a break-up, there are hundreds more happily-ever-afters out there. I really believe that.
Isn’t this such a perfect summer city outfit! I love everything she’s wearing and those wedges are so pretty!
Yes, this is how I want to look like in my 50’s and I will wear mini dresses and tight pencil skirts on my way to work! And those sparkle heels too!

Anna Dello Russo’s yellow dress. Love at first sight. AMAZING
I love Sonia Rykiel’s fashion goodies and her quote. It is always always a little sad when a couple breaks up, especially when they’ve been together for several years. I think a lot of relationships appear to be happy on the outside though, even though they may be troubled. It is always good though to to leave a relationship when it no longer makes you happy and while there is still a chance for it to end on good terms. I think I hate the idea more of a once happy couple growing old and unhappy together. We can still believe in romance and happily-ever-after though. =)

I agree with your comments about relationships. I’m a optimist trapped inside the body of a pessimist. I like to tell myself that relationships don’t work, that they fall apart, but I always have a linger of hope that they don’t, that they actually work. Who knows, we’ll see right? Hello there Shin! Yes, I will soon open my new blog and yesterday I just made yogurt ice-cream, it was super delicious! I am glad to see and notice that people are interested in my cooking lessons and happy that you enjoy yourself with them! The whole idea of the new design was to make pics larger and it turned up really cute! Saturday I was at my cousin’s wedding and we had a great night, even though my feet still hurt! Great choices as usual! I am always shocked to hear of celebrity break ups too. Usually right before they annouce they are divorcing they are all around town looking happy, even talking about relationship problems they got through. So sad because both couples have small children.

What???? I’ve been so out of the loop and haven’t gone on my computer other than to do assignments over the past week…JLo and Marc Anthony broke up? What?! Didn’t they just do that weird creepy duet on American Idol? So weird.
I’m actually the opposite of you…not a romantic at all. My boyfriend and I are very happy and everything and have been together for awhile, but I’ve never been able to romanticize anything. I have a friend who’s very similar to you in that sense and I’ve actually always envied her (and you now as well!). I think it makes life so much more interesting when you can get excited about love and romance. That’s part of the reason that you and your blog are so endearing 🙂
