Because I’m in Hawaii, I wear shorts year round and I love that I can easily dress it up or down depending on where I’m going. In my closet, I mostly have denim shorts but this summer, I’m thinking of getting bright shorts (red, yellow, coral) and printed shorts (leopard, floral, stripes). 
Denim shorts are so versatile!
And you can never have enough of them….

I totally agree with you. Shorts are some of the most feminine and playful items. They look so great on a nice figure/body being sexy and innocent at the same time.
Go for them, you deserve them as it’s always warm to go around in them 🙂

I love the denim shorts the most. Casual yet chic and very versatile! The bright yellow shorts are hot though!

As I live in the UK where is is freezing cold 90% of the time, I rarely wear shorts. If I do wear shorts then I tend to wear them with tights to keep my legs warm. I have a few pairs of tights, but need to loose my winter blubber in order to fit into them. I have the following tights:
– Denim Shorts
-Denim Hotpants Shorts
– Long turn-up silk Shorts
– Highwaisted Polkadot Shorts

I super love this post!! I love simple pieces like jean shorts. You are soo lucky that one: you live in Hawaii (so jealous) and two: you get wear shorts year round! I’m soo tired of rain, occasional snow and strong cold winds. It’s getting better but it took several months to get there. Anyways, love all your picks. I’m loving the shorts with color a lot! I just got your comment on my blog. I agree, it’s an overused message but it’s one worth hearing I think. Unfortunately, like you said looks tend to be everything and they are what sell. I was thinking about that when I was writing the review but if I wrote about it the review would have been even longer. (yikes) I mean think about the movie itself. They could have casted a girl who isn’t necessarily gorgeous like Vanessa Hudgens to play the love interest but they didn’t because it may affect sales. Your totally right. Anyways, Neil Patrick Harris was AMAZING! He did such a good job! ; )

High waisted shorts are soo cute and retro! I love denim shorts too, in all colors. Ooh some bright shorts sound like a really great idea. Bermuda shorts are also cute, especially in white denim. I think shorts look great on other people, but they always manage to make me look shorter than I really am! Maybe because of the name “shorts?” Anyway, my favorite warm weather look is skirts.
All these shorts are so beautiful and I just love the way they look and fit in the first picture! I’m also excited about the print shorts… something new 😀
Oh I love shorts! Even in winter I wear them with tights. I just saw some lace ones in Nylon that you might like, they are selling them at H&M 🙂

Anyway, shorts are a wonderful trend in the right places and I say this because sometimes here, in Milan, you see almost naked girl that are completely out of context….so shorts are cool but dangerous. Because I don’t live in Hawaii I can’t wear shorts all year long but I love them!
In summer I wear them very often and in fall and spring I wear them with tights sometimes.

Like I said, not the biggest shorts fan. But I do like the tap shorts from Barneys and the Cahran Red shorts, as well as that tribal pair that the girl is wearing! Great selection!
